1930 Office Wooden Office Chairs: GOLDBERG, Arthur Joseph (1908- ), American lawyer and public official. He was born on Aug. 8, 1908, on Chicago's West Side, the son of poor Jewish immigrants from Russia. His father died when he was three, and at the age of 12 he was working as a delivery boy.
