The awards mark the fourth consecutive year that EwingCole has won design excellence awards in the Cleveland AIA chapter's annual competition; it is the only Cleveland office to be so honored.The awards mark the fourth consecutive year that EwingCole has won design excellence awards in the Cleveland AIA chapter's annual competition; it is the only Cleveland office to be so honored. EwingCole received Honor Awards in the Unbuilt category for the design of the Liberty Science Center, located in Jersey City, New Jersey, and the Built category for design of the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Center for Medical Education at Lankenau Hospital in the Philadelphia suburbs.
American philanthropist: b. Cleveland, Ohio, Jan. 29, 1874; d. Tucson, Ariz, May 11, 1960. The only son of John D. Rockefeller, Sr., he entered his father's office on his graduation from Brown University in 1897 and worked closely with his father while familiarizing himself with the latter's business and philanthropic enterprises.
