Other parts of the houses - living rooms, entryways, family rooms and home offices - will be open for viewing as well, but the contemporary kitchens are definitely the stars of this tour.
Although contemporary kitchens vary enormously in basic design, they are work ing spaces that need to be bright and fresh. Rich yellows, oranges and reds often work well. Cool blues and greens tend to be effect! in rooms with lots of early-morning sunlight. Since most contemporary kitchens are cluttered places, choose a color scheme that is easy on the eyi - such as pale, soft tones - and add color with accessories. If you have a broad expanse of plain-colored Laminate or wood, created the doors and drawers of built-in units, you will have lots of scopi for using a contrasting color on the walls and floor.
