Plains Cover A Large:
The Ather-ton Tableland in the north, Buckland's Tableland in the center, and the Main Range in the south are interesting examples of the region. The northwestern uplands embrace the comparatively high country northwest of Cloncurry. The western plains cover a large proportion of the state, forming huge areas of rolling country, interspersed with flat-topped hills and tablelands.In central Greece, Thessaly is the richest region. Cereals are grown and stock pastured on its three large plains, while the mountains and hills produce timber, fruit, nuts, and olives, and provide pasture. Trikkala and Larissa are the chief centers inland; Volos on the Gulf of Volos (Pugasai) is the chief port.To the south the plains of Phocis and Boeotia are rich in wheat.
Racers need plenty of room and must be housed alone. Use large reptile cage (see Part IV). Cover cage bottom with a thick layer of pea gravel. Place large section of sod with growth of fairly tall weeds or wild grass across one end of cage as grass cover. Place branching limb across one corner of cage, preferably over grass, for crawling. Limb must be strong enough to hold weight of snake. Place cage where it receives some sunlight each day, but protect it from overheating.
