If there is no mast, it is often flown from a radio antenna on the starboard side. On smaller boats that have a location for only one flag, it can be flown at the stern in lieu of the national or yacht ensign. It is displayed during the same hours as the national ensign.CHOOSING THE location for a sculpture is extremely important if the work is to look effective. The best approach is to decide where you want an object and then set about finding a piece that will suit the location. However, more often something irresistible is acquired which must be accommodated in an appropriate setting. Some pieces will dictate a likely location: a Bacchus will look most effective reeling out of the bushes, while a formal statue is ideally placed in a niche or in a more commanding position such as on a pedestal or balustrade.

In contrast, a standard (C) room is usually situated in a less-desirable location — for example, overlooking the parking lot.
