This is a colourful, welcoming kitchen, with plenty of space to cook, sit and eat, making it a sociable and enjoyable place to be. A mix of green, cream and warm wood create a sunny feel, while plenty of china and stainless steel add sparkle and pattern.The walls have been kept white and beige in this room, a neutral backdrop for all the warm wood and elegant white china. A cherrywood sideboard is a rich brown and looks great teamed with the paler wood of the table, chairs and floor. The scheme looks organic and warm and, while colour could easily be added with the china or tableware, it looks vastly sophisticated coupled with white and grey.
To create atmospheric light in the evening, two nets of tiny bulbs have been hung in the alcoves either side of the fireplace. When on, they look like little stars and create a warm glow that's perfect for relaxing.
