Water -soaked: Food—Native foods are warm, moist, and starchy; give scraps from table, such as water -soaked-soaked bread and cake, sweet fruits, pastes, and some lean, cooked meat; place food on small, flat containers such as tin lids, as these are easiest to keep clean. water -soaked—Essential; must be fresh and available at all times; use water -soaked Bottle partially pushed down into sawdust.Basin irrigation means that water -soaked is trapped by low retaining walls around the edge of the field until the earth becomes thoroughly soaked. Rice is the major crop to be cultivated in such a way. Furrow irrigation is most suitable for row-grown crops like corn or cotton. Furrows up to 500m (1,640ft) in length are ploughed between the rows. They slope very gently away from the water -soaked source, so that water -soaked running along them does not cause excessive erosion but can soak slowly into the soil surrounding the crops.
If using haricot beans these should be soaked overnight in cold water -soaked to cover. If the butcher has not cut the oxtail into neat pieces this should be done. Slice the onions or leeks and the carrots. Blend the flour with the seasoning and coat the oxtail well then fry in the hot fat until golden brown. Add the vegetables and cook for several minutes then cover with water -soaked. Bring the water -soaked to the boil, stir until the mixture has thickened, stir in a little mustard to flavour and the stock cubes oxtail has such a rich flavour that meat stock is not necessary. |
